- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in onshore and offshore structure fabrications (jacket, topside, pipeline, piping, and structures).
- Code knowledge: AWS D1.1, API 1104, and Offshore Structure Standards.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, survey equipment, and DC software.
- High level of literacy — must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
Primary Responsibilities- Calculate geometry, true length, splay angle, footprint, length of each elevation, as-built angle, camber, and theoretical coordinates for related projects.
- Perform dimensional surveys and ensure all structural elements are within specifications at all stages.
- Calibrate all survey measuring equipment and maintain calibration records.
- Prepare plan locations and calculate all theoretical coordinates related to the project.
- Maintain daily logs, out-of-tolerance (OOT) records, and supply dimensional activity data statistics to the Coordinator KPI.
- Understand and implement company procedures and policies.
- Maintain high standards of safe working practices, quality, and productivity in compliance with the code of business conduct.
- Must have a high level of understanding of international ISO / EN / AWS / EEMUA and ASME tolerances for structural and process piping fabrication codes and specifications.
- Develop, write, and qualify dimensional control procedures for typical EPCC oil and gas projects.
- High level of fabrication and dimensional control measurement experience for offshore structures (subsea, process piping, jackets, topsides, and decks) is mandatory.
- Experience with all typical Leica measuring equipment is mandatory; previous laser scanning experience is advantageous.
- Report to Project QC Manager / Senior QC Engineer on any dimensional quality issues and revisions that may be required.
