Job Title: 6GR / 6G Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and certified 6GR/6G Welders with proven experience in structural and pipe welding, particularly in industrial, oil & gas, or construction projects. The ideal candidate must be capable of performing welding in multiple positions and materials, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 6GR/6G welding on pipes and structural components using various welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
• Interpret welding procedures, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding equipment, including adjusting gas flow, voltage, and wire speed.
• Conduct visual inspections and of welds and perform repairs as necessary.
• Adhere to welding quality standards and specifications (ASME, AWS, API).
• Comply with safety protocols, site rules, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and quality control inspectors to ensure welding tasks are executed correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and tools.
