Job Objectives

To perform routine and specialized Port Operations and Maintenance of facility requirements under minimal supervision. To maintain compliance to appropriate external regulations and internal operations and maintenance policies.

Job Description

• Carry out Operational and first-line maintenance inspection.
• Perform operational and process services on Port equipment/systems.
• Perform maintenance troubleshooting on Port equipment/process.
• Supervise contractors on specific tasks in his area of responsibility.
• Act as an effective role as a member of TW Team.
• Maintain and monitor the operational efficiency of all equipment to ensure optimum performance and carry out remedial work under direction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of plant preventive maintenance for all equipment to ensure operational effectiveness and preserve company assets.
• Maintain and update field-related equipment.
• Attend daily meetings with team technicians and supervisor, plan routine jobs, and ensure the job is carried out in compliance with Qatalum standards.
• Participate in the diagnosis and repair of major equipment faults and breakdowns, compile field data for further technical evaluations.
• Maintain a full service record of all work undertaken on the equipment.
• Provide technical support to contract services staff at the job site.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Technical/Trade qualification in relevant field (Electrical).
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC system for first-line fault using ladder logic.

Minimum Experience Required

• 5 - 7 Years of experience in a relevant position.
• Industrial/heavy maintenance experience would be preferred.
• Experience in Man Machine Interface equipment (MMIs).

Job Specific Skills

• Computer skills.
• Fluency in English.
