High school graduates or equivalent 

Minimum Experience: At least 5 year operational experience e.g. in the petrochemical or chemical industry. Proficiency on at least single process in a plant 

Syn Gas (HYCO) Linde , Al-Byroni 2-EH Plant , Ammonia Plant Or Equivalent

Tasks for which this position is responsible and deliverables for which they are accountable.

1. Undertake and complete, under review supervision, assignments of broad scope and complexity involving a range of standard and advanced problem solving techniques and computational methods.

2. Plan and organise own work within a job or assignment remit under the supervision of more senior engineers.

3. Acquire data from a diversity of sources, and carry out analyses as an input to problem resolution and trend analysis.

4. Identify and address frequently recurring problems within levels of expertise and experience, reaching solutions, for senior review prior to implementation, through standard procedures and professional knowledge.

5. Participate in, and benefit from, formal and informal on-the-job training and development, and from work/job rotation to develop skills and capabilities.

6. Provide first-line supervision and act as a technical reference point for Level 4 and 5 engineers and assigned technicians and monitor progress to ensure completion of tasks to time and quality standards.

7. Participate in regular team meetings to keep informed on developments of significance and to contribute views on ways forward.

8. Work in conjunction with external contract service providers to assist in the delivery of required outputs, acquire expertise and assist in ensuring contract compliance.

9. Maintain awareness of developments in sub-discipline to keep informed and identify opportunities for improvement for the benefit of TASNEE

10. Prepare routine and non-routine analytical and progress reports for review and acceptance by seniors.

11. Provide input for the development of plans and budgets.

12. Ensure strict compliance with all approved EHSM procedures and practices to afford protection to life, property and the environment.

13. Ensure strict compliance with all approved Responsible Care and IMRS policy and procedure to align with the TASNEE commitment to sustainable business.
