🔹 Open Positions & Requirements

1. Structural Fabricator

• Trade Positions: 302

• Supervisory Positions: 24

• Total Required: 326 Personnel

Interview Process:

• Table interview with fabrication drawings

• Practical test including:

  • Plate cutting as per drawings using torch

  • Beveling and tack welding

Practical Test Equipment & Skills:

• Grinder (small & big)

• Oxy-acetylene cutting set

• PUG cutting machine

• Right angle tools (various sizes)

• Spirit level & meter tape

• Steel plates (12mm, 15mm & 18mm – one size from higher thickness)

• Welding machine for tack welding (portable preferred)

• Proper PPE knowledge and usage:

  • Safety shoes, coverall, glasses, apron, arm & leg guards

• Awareness of confined space using multi-gas monitor (preferred, not mandatory)

2. Welder (6GR SMAW + FCAW / 6GR FCAW)

• Trade Positions: 280

• Supervisory Positions: 27

• Total Required: 307 Personnel

Interview Process:

• Table interview

• Trade test (pipe welding)

Welding Test Details:

Position:

• 6GR (45°)

• 

Pipe & Material:

• Material: Carbon Steel (P1)

• Applicable Materials:

  • SA 106 Gr.B

  • A333 Gr.6

  • API 5L Gr.B

  • SA 53 Gr.B

• Pipe Diameter: 6 inches

• Pipe Thickness:

  • ½ inch (12 mm)

  • ¾ inch (18 mm)

Filler Metal:

• Root & Hot Pass: SMAW E7016-1 (Ø 2.5 mm)

• Filling & Capping: FCAW E71T-1

Test Coupon Requirements:

• Minimum 0.5 meter above floor level (measured from bottom)

• Coupon must not be moved once fixed until test completion
