Q-Chem / RLP is seeking qualified candidates for the position of INTools Technician within the Engineering / Technical RLP Department, based in Mesaieed / Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role is part of the Information Management Section and reports directly to the Senior Supervisor – Information Management / Superintendent Projects & Technical RLP.

Key Purpose of the Role

• Understand, evaluate, and maintain Instrumentation related data for the facility through SPI INTools.
• Support facility changes, modifications, and Project Engineering requirements.
• Maintain and administer SPI INTools database, including system upgrades, security, user management, and reporting functions.
• Ensure compliance with Q-Chem Process Safety Information Policy, Management of Change (MOC), and all relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering (Preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Petrochemicals Industry experience preferred
• Hands-on experience in SPI INTools
• English proficiency required
• Arabic working knowledge preferred

• Internal: Operations and Technical, Base load technicians
• External: Contractors, third-party service providers, consultants, and advisors
