Job Purpose:
- Prepare procedures, conduct detailed inspections, and develop equipment/system-specific inspection and preventive maintenance (PM) checklists.
- Develop maintenance, repair, and overhauling plans for diesel engines, lifting equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts, reach stackers), and HVAC systems.
- Develop scope of work (SOW), review spare parts, conduct technical evaluations of proposals/Annual Rate Contracts (ARC), and perform risk assessments (PH&A).
- Evaluate Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of diesel engines, HVAC systems, and lifting equipment, and form repair recommendations.
- Develop task lists, PM plans, CTI/TRA (Critical Task Identification/Task Risk Analysis), and procedures for diesel engines, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, and department-related equipment.
- Prepare scope of work (SOW) for repair works, turnaround maintenance (TAM), and ARC (Annual Rate Contracts).
- Perform technical evaluations of contracts and proposals.
- Evaluate materials required for maintenance and repair works.
- Conduct surveys and condition-based inspections of diesel engines, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, and department-related equipment.
- Review spare parts and create requests for spare parts/Material Data Governance (MDG).
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and investigate incidents.
- Prepare failure reports.
- Prepare capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets.
- Review and update drawings and documents.
- Initiate, evaluate, and manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, including PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act), PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review), CFO (Clearance for Operation), and MOC closeout.
- Perform criticality assessments and re-evaluations of assets, and execute reliability and integrity-related actions for department-related equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise project handover/takeover activities, form records, update equipment, and upload master data into SAP.
- Serve as the onsite lead during critical works or conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience.
