| Purpose: PT Toshiba Asia Pacific Indonesia (hereinafter referred as TAPI), a subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation, will take part in two large scale power plant construction projects in Indonesia, 1) expansion of Cirebon coal-fired thermal power plant, and 2) re-expansion of Tanjung Jati coal-fired thermal power plant (hereinafter referred as the Project). For successful completion of the Project, we are taking application for an experienced Procurement Manger who can handle several dozen of local supplier/service provider in Indonesia. 1. Experience Requirement: At least 5 years or more experience at procurement position. Working experience in power plant project, construction, or manufacturing industry would be preferable. 2. Academic background: Bachelor or higher 3. Language: English (fluent in speaking, reading and writing), Bahasa Indonesia Japanese language skill would be preferable. 4. Work Location: TAPI office, Jakarta and relevant project site in Indonesia 5. Working hours: Regular hours (8:30 am – 5:30 pm) Monday to Friday (and Saturday morning (until 12:00 am)?) 6. Salary, allowance and other benefits Details will be discussed later. 7. Job description: As procurement manager for the Project, this position is required to cover all relevant procurement activities including request for quotation, evaluation, purchase order, delivery, quality assurance/quality control, payment, warranty, and bond control. Single contact window with Indonesian local vendors and TAPI/Toshiba engineers To procure facilities, equipment, systems, services which is required to complete the Project successfully (hereinafter referred as the Item). The Item and its specifications shall be in accordance with the contract of the Project. To evaluate and negotiate with the venders to meet TAPI’s budget which has already set item by item. To obtain approval from Project Manager and/or TAPI’s manager to finalize the price, terms and conditions of the contract. TAPI’s management, President/General Manager, is the only authorized person who can make the contract legally effective. To manage the performance/warranty bond that is submitted by the venders in exchange of down payment. The custody of the bond paper is under TAPI Management or accounting manager’s control. To arrange factory/site acceptance test in order for engineers to verify the quality of the Item. To manage the payment to the vendor. If all requirement under the Contract is fulfilled, to obtain approval from TAPI management and accounting manager. To analyze and resolve the issue/problem of the Item with the vendor as single contact window. It is encouraged to consultant with relevant engineer and management to seek best reasonable solutions for both TAPI/Toshiba and vendors. To cover Indonesian local vendor including its overseas subsidiary/representative office. It includes not only the company who is placed order, but potential supplier. To support for TAPI’s credit review, quality survey of the vendors. To report and update status of the procurement activities to relevant department in TAPI and Toshiba in monthly/weekly basis. To assist TAPI’s management to ensure compliance with TAPI and Toshiba Group standards and regulation, e.g. export control, CSR, health and safety, environment, information security, accounting policy, ethic program, etc. Any other duties as directed by TAPI’s management from time to time. 8.
